Which card fits my spending?

Not credit advice. Facts and math from issuer pages and the CFPB, each with its date. Offers change; approval depends on your credit. Verify on the issuer's site.

Enter what you spend each month. We compute each card's yearly rewards minus its annual fee, with every rate and cap shown.

Spending $23,040/yr across 5 cards. Net annual value = rewards − annual fee (year 2+); year 1 adds the sign-up bonus where published.

Cards with rotating 5% categories are counted at their base rate; portal-only rates, credits and perks are not counted. Default point values are adjustable assumptions, not facts: 1¢ for bank travel/transferable points (their typical cash/travel redemption floor), 0.5¢ for hotel and airline programs (set your own). Fixed cash-value points use 1¢.

No paid placement. No issuer pays VaultRubric for inclusion or rank; links go to the issuer's own page. Ranks come only from the published rubric below.

FAQ

How is net value calculated?

Yearly spend in each category × that card's published rate (caps applied, then the base rate) minus the annual fee. Year 1 adds the published sign-up bonus.

Why doesn't my favorite card rank higher?

We only count rates you can earn without portals, activation or rotating categories, and we never count credits or perks you may not use. That shows the downside, not the marketing.
