Get credit for rent and bills you already pay

Rent, phone and utility bills usually don't show up on your credit report. These services add them, which can help if you have a thin file. Each one only reaches certain bureaus, and a lender may use a bureau or score that doesn't include them.

FAQ

Will rent reporting raise my score?

Not guaranteed. Experian says results vary and not all lenders use Experian files or scores affected by Boost; Esusu says its service doesn't guarantee a higher score.

Estimates, not financial advice. Taxes, insurance, PMI and fees vary by lender, county and city; confirm with your lender, dealer and state agency before acting.
